Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Care: Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatological care in a modern, technologically advanced setting.
• Efficient Workflow: Lead a clinical team where Medical Assistants handle patient prep, Scribe/EMR data entry, and follow-up calls to maximize your efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work alongside a stable, professional staff including three Physician Assistants, a Registered Nurse, and a dedicated billing team.
• Documentation: Utilize our integrated EMR systems supported by dedicated administrative staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Board Certification: BC/BE in Dermatology
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted Virginia medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Personal Attributes: A collaborative spirit and a desire for clinical autonomy.
• Experience: Open to both experienced and newer graduates looking for a partnership track.

Position Overview

We are seeking a BCD for a locum tenens assignment to provide high-quality outpatient care. Ideal for a dermatologist seeking autonomy and a flexible schedule while supporting a busy clinic during a staffing leave of absence.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: Conduct patient exams/office visits for general medical dermatology, including skin checks and diagnosis of chronic dermatological conditions.
• Procedures: Perform minor surgical procedures, including biopsies and excisions.
• Patient Volume: Manage an average of 30–35+ patients per day in a well-supported outpatient environment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records using EHR- Trimed Technologies system.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Board Certification: American Board of Dermatology (ABD) or Board Eligible.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted Virginia medical license and DEA registration.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of post-residency experience in a clinical dermatology setting preferred.
• Credentials: Must provide an updated CV, professional references (at least two within the specialty).
